Basecamp
Project management with flat monthly prices and no per-user fees.
What Basecamp does
Basecamp gathers a team's messages, to-do lists, files, schedules and group chat in one project space.
Its pricing is different from most tools. You pay a flat price a month for your plan, not per person, so you can add many people without the bill growing.
The plans differ by how many active projects, how much storage and how many users you get.
Setup and learning curve
Most teams start the same day. Moving all past projects over can take a few days.

How teams use Basecamp
Pricing comparison: Basecamp and similar tools
| Tool | Free plan | Paid from | Trial | Price source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basecamp | Yes | $25 /mo (flat) | Yes | Company page |
Prices show in your local currency where a company lists them. Tools without a local price stay in USD, so do not compare those rows number for number.
Entry prices are for the cheapest paid plan and use each company's own billing basis (annual or monthly, local currency), so compare them as a guide, not a quote.
