What Zoho CRM does

Zoho CRM is the sales tool from Zoho, a company known for a very wide range of business apps. It tracks leads, contacts, deals and follow-ups, and adds automation, reports and forecasting as you move up the editions.

Its main appeal is value. Editions cost less than many rivals, and the free edition supports up to three users. If you later need accounting, email or help desk tools, Zoho sells those too and they connect to the CRM.

The trade-off is that the screens can feel busy. There is a lot in the product, and it takes a little longer to learn than the simplest tools.

Setup and learning curve

A basic pipeline can be running in a day. Getting the most from automation and the wider Zoho suite takes more time than the simplest tools.

Important: Zoho's own page showed us rupee prices only, so these US dollar figures (annual billing, per user per month) come from Zoho's earlier published list and still need to be re-checked. Confirm on Zoho's site using its currency selector.

Zoho shows local currency by country, and yearly billing saves up to 34%. Local taxes such as VAT or GST are charged on top.

All paid editions come with a free trial, so you can test before paying.

Currency: Zoho publishes rupee prices for India (checked). It offers many other currencies through its selector, which we have not read yet, so other countries see its USD list, which still needs a re-check.

Prices show in your local currency where a company lists them. Tools without a local price stay in USD, so do not compare those rows number for number.

Entry prices are for the cheapest paid plan and use each company's own billing basis (annual or monthly, local currency), so compare them as a guide, not a quote.
