What Copper does

Copper was started in 2013 under the name ProsperWorks and was renamed in 2018. Its whole idea is to work inside Google Workspace, as a panel in Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Drive.

For a team that already lives in Gmail, that means a contact's deal history shows up right beside an email, with no tab-switching and little copying of data.

Copper aims at service businesses, such as agencies, consultancies and construction firms. Its project tools let you turn a closed deal into a project to deliver.

Setup and learning curve

Installing the Gmail panel and importing contacts takes about an hour. Pipelines and automation take a day or two to tune.

Prices show in your local currency where a company lists them. Tools without a local price stay in USD, so do not compare those rows number for number.

Entry prices are for the cheapest paid plan and use each company's own billing basis (annual or monthly, local currency), so compare them as a guide, not a quote.
